American Filament Shipping Policy

Thank you for choosing American Filament for your 3D printing needs! This policy outlines the shipping options, costs, and timeframes for your orders.

Order Processing

We process orders within 1-2 business days after receiving your payment. Typically, most orders are fulfilled next business day. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order ships.

Shipping Options

We offer several shipping options through reputable carriers to meet your needs:

  • Economy Shipping: This is the most economical option, with delivery times typically ranging from 3-7 business days, but may take as long as 10 business days in some cases.
  • Expedited Shipping: This option offers faster delivery, usually within 2-3 business days.
  • Next-Day Shipping: Need your filament ASAP? Choose next-day shipping for the fastest available shipping option. (Typically, either UPS Next Day Air or UPS Next Day Air Early).

Shipping to PO Boxes or APO Addresses

We ship to PO boxes & APO/FPO addresses that are reachable by USPS and are capable of receiving packages.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight of your order and your chosen shipping method. You will see the exact shipping cost before finalizing your purchase.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. If a package is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping fees. 

Free Shipping promotions may not apply to all products in the store. 

International Shipping

We currently do not offer international shipping directly through our website. However, if you're interested in international shipping, please contact us at sales@americanfilament.us and we'll be happy to discuss options.

Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track the progress of your shipment on the carrier's website.

Depending on quantity or size, some orders may ship in multiple packages to reduce shipping cost.

Returns and Exchanges

Damaged or Lost Shipments

American Filament is not liable for any products damaged, lost, or stolen during the shipping process. We take great care in packaging and preparing your order to ensure it arrives safely. However, sometimes things can happen during transit that are beyond our control. If you receive your order damaged, save all packaging materials and damaged goods, take photos, and contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
