Had random adhesion issues that I havent had with any other PLA manufacturer. I was hoping to find a good USA manufacturer, but its unclear whether American Filament can fill that role. I purchased 6 kg of PLA+ filament and tried multiple settings for bed temp, nozzle temp, first layer speed, and cleaned my build plate thoroughly now after every successive try. I cant seem to find a way to beat the randomness of the first layer adhesion failures. Other filaments still print well.
When I do end up getting a good first layer (it does happen) the prints are as expected. Colors are good. Matte filaments turn out with a great finish.

Excited to see quality products being made in America again
The filament was easy to use. I just used the generic PLA profile on my A1 and it printed flawlessly. Happy to find a good American made filament.
Excellent results. The best filament I've worked with this far.
My matte black filament is very shiny and glossy. This is NOT a matte filament.
Had to immediately order Black matte filament from Bambu, this is not close to a matte filament.
First time ordering, will not order again.

The matte finish will depend on your print settings. Using 'typical' PLA settings our Matte Black PLA+ will have a matte finish the majority of the time. If you're experiencing otherwise try either printing it with a cooler nozzle temperature or a faster print speed. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review!
Also, depending on your slicer, you can un-check the setting called 'slow down outer perimeters for better cooling' this will help with the matte finish.
