Lithophane Maker Desktop is a user-friendly application designed for creating lithophanes and chromaphanes (also known as filament paintings) for 3D printing. With the Lithophane Maker Desktop program, you can produce various types of lithophanes, including color lithophanes, light boxes, spheres, moon lamps, flat lithophanes, curved lithophanes, night light lithophanes, lithophane lamps, lithophane silhouettes, and more. The software is continually updated with new features.
Ordering Multiple Licenses:
If you wish to buy more than one license, please order them separately, as ordering multiple licenses at once will not have any effect. The license period begins only after you download the program and register the license by entering your order (or confirmation) number and email address.
Post-Purchase Process:
Once your purchase is complete, you can download the latest version of Lithophane Maker Desktop from here and you can come back and download it again if you need to. You will also receive a download link in an email. Please ensure you uninstall any earlier versions of the software before installing the new one. During your first use, you will need to provide your order (or confirmation) number and your email address to activate your license. After the license has been activated, you're good to go!
Licensing Details:
Please be aware that the license is valid for only one computer at a time, and it is easy to transfer the license to another computer. Because this program works while offline, and we cannot remove the license from your computer. Due to the nature of our digital product, all purchases are final and cannot be refunded. Please carefully review your order before completing your purchase. We are committed to continually improve LMD, and if you have any suggestions for how to improve the program, please send them to support@lithophanemaker.com
The personal version does not permit the sale of digital models or printed objects created with it. In contrast, the commercial version allows for the sale of such items. Selling models or objects without a commercial license may lead to the loss of your license and a ban on acquiring a new one.
We have provided Bambu Lithophane and Chromaphane Configuration Files here! The Curved Walls profile is designed for curved lithophanes (e.g., nightlights, spheres, lamp shades, etc.), while the Flat Walls profile should be used for printing flat lithophanes (e.g., boxes, flats, hearts, etc.). Lithophane Maker Desktop is only available on Windows operating systems at this time. A MacOS version will be released in the future.

I got this because I was excited to start printing lithophanes, what I got when I opened it was just confusion. I’m still not sure how to actually use this program, so it sits on my desktop regretfully. If they could have a tutorial or links to YouTube videos on how to fully utilize this program, It would be much appreciated.
I had used the website to design and print a few lithophanes. But with the software you get a ton more capability. It allowed me to improve the quality of my lithophane's and for the $25 price tag you can't go wrong. My only wish was that i had bought it sooner.
Fantastic sofware!
My only criticism is, when trying to adjust the binding box over the image, there aren't mouse tools (↕↔) that appear, making it confusing, at least at first. Other than that, the software does what I expect it to do.
