Graphite AF Silk PLA 3D Printer Filament, 1.75 mm Diameter, 1 kg Spool

Our Silk PLA was designed with printability in mind. We chose a special formulation to ensure that every roll of Silk PLA we produce is just as easy to print with as standard PLA or PLA+. You can rest easy knowing that our Silk PLA will not be plagued with the typical issues of fragility or stringiness commonly associated with Silk PLA! 

Due to the method of production of this color, there will be some color variation (think acid wash jeans). 

Each spool comes with 1kg (2.2 lbs) of this premium filament, precisely measured at 1.75mm in diameter, with a strict dimensional accuracy of +/- 0.05mm.

Polylactic Acid, PLA, is the most commonly used 3D printer material, because it is easy to use, affordable, and has good mechanical properties. Our Silk PLA has been specially formulated to provide your print with a shiny, silky finish, without sacrificing any print quality. We recommend a nozzle temperature of 220-235 C, a bed temperature of 60 C for best printing results. We recommend printing our Silk PLA at the higher end of the recommended temperature range at higher speeds; on some high speed printers it may be necessary to go up to 240 C.
